Choose the Quiet Moments

Choose the Quiet Moments

There are days when healing doesn’t look like breakthrough moments or big revelations.

Sometimes, healing looks like silence. Like resting when the world expects motion. Like sitting in your room while the dishes wait and the messages go unanswered. Like feeling all of these emotions inside of you and Choosing to learn how to deal with each and everyone of them. One at a time.

For so long, I thought I had to do something to prove I was getting better. Being productive was difficult, Figuring out you owe no one an explanation but yourself.

Because healing is not a performance. It’s not linear, not polished, not always visible.
Sometimes, the most powerful progress you’ll ever make is choosing the moment you whisper to yourself:
“This is hard… and I’m still here.”

There’s a sacred kind of strength in choosing softness.
In choosing the quiet moments, the stillness, the tears, the deep breaths, be enough.
You are not failing because you needed a pause.
You are not broken because you can’t explain your pain in neat little sentences.

You can choose to move slowly.
You can choose to feel deeply.
You can choose not to know what comes next.

There will be days when you write, and days when the words won’t come.
There will be days when you smile and days when you stare at the ceiling wondering why it all feels so heavy.
And all of those days are valid.

Healing isn’t always about transformation. Sometimes it’s about choosing to hold space, for yourself, for your story, for your heart.
It’s about choosing to learn to be okay with who you are before everything feels better.

So today, if all you’ve done is breathe…
If you choose kindness instead of chaos, rest instead of running, truth instead of pretending…

That’s more than enough.
You’re more than enough.

Let the quiet be your proof.
You’re healing... And you choose to be here.
